Welcome to Switzerland! Meet your Star Tours representative at Zurich Airport (ZRH) at 12:01 PM. Begin your journey by heading straight to Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest plain waterfalls. Feel the spray of the powerful cascade and admire the scenic beauty of northern Switzerland.
Later, drive into the heart of Zurich, Switzerland’s financial and cultural capital. Enjoy free time in the city: stroll along Bahnhofstrasse (one of the world’s most exclusive shopping avenues), view the Grossmünster Church, and walk along the Limmat River and Lake Zurich (Zurichsee). Day 2: Mt. Titlis Adventure – Lucerne City Tour
After breakfast, embark on a thrilling journey to the snowy heights of Mount Titlis. Ascend 10,000 feet via the Titlis Rotair, the world’s first rotating cable car, offering 360° panoramic views of the Swiss Alps.
Enjoy free time at the summit: play in the snow, explore the Ice Caves, or get photographed in traditional Swiss costumes. Optional: ride the Ice Flyer chairlift over glacier crevasses (extra charge). In the afternoon, descend to visit Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most charming towns. See the Lion Monument, a tribute to Swiss Guards, and walk across the Chapel Bridge, one of the oldest wooden bridges in Europe. Spend some time shopping for Swiss watches, chocolates, or souvenirs. Return to the hotel for a hearty Indian dinner.
Day 3: Interlaken & Excursion to Mt. Jungfrau (Top of Europe)
Drive to Interlaken, nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, and surrounded by alpine peaks. Enjoy free time to wander along the Hoheweg promenade, visit the Kursaal Gardens, or shop for Swiss souvenirs and chocolates. Next, journey to the Top of Europe — Mt. Jungfrau, a highlight of any Swiss trip. Take the scenic cogwheel train or cable car up to 3,454 meters (11,332 ft) above sea level. Explore the Ice Palace, full of intricate ice sculptures, and the Sphinx Observation Deck for stunning views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest in Europe. In the afternoon, sweeten the day with a visit to a Swiss chocolate factory – discover how it’s made and sample rich Swiss chocolates. Day 5:Glacier 3000 – Golden Pass Train – Vevey – Geneva City Tour
Begin the day with a scenic drive to Col du Pillon, where you’ll ride a cable car to Glacier 3000. Walk the famous Peak Walk by Tissot, the world’s first suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks at over 3,000 meters altitude – a thrilling experience with spectacular views of the Alps. After lunch, board the panoramic Golden Pass Train, one of Switzerland’s most scenic train journeys, passing alpine meadows, lakes, and chalets en route to Montreux.s
Drive past Montreux to the lakeside town of Vevey, once home to Charlie Chaplin. Enjoy leisure time along the Lake Geneva promenade. Continue to Geneva, one of Switzerland’s most cosmopolitan cities. Enjoy a short city tour with photo stops at the United Nations Building, the symbolic Flower Clock, and the iconic Jet d’Eau fountain (operation permitting).
