Choose between two enriching tours: the 4-Day Historic Scotland (SCTL) or the extended 5-Day Scottish Highlands (UKSH). Both tours include must-see highlights such as Gretna Green, Glasgow City Tour (including Glasgow Cathedral, Main Square, and University of Glasgow), the stunning Nevis Range with entrance, and the Edinburgh City Tour, which includes entrance to the historic Edinburgh Castle. Scenic stops like Neptune Staircase, Commando Memorial, Fort William, Forth Road Bridge, Falkirk Wheel (photo stop), and The Kelpies are also featured in both tours.
However, the Scottish Highlands tour offers additional experiences such as a full-day excursion to the Isle of Skye, visits to Loch Ness, Inverness City (free time), Cairngorms National Park, and a Whiskey Distillery tour, which are not included in the shorter tour. The Historic Scotland itinerary includes a Lake Windermere Cruise and Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Train ride (note: not operational from January to March and November to December), while the Highlands version provides free time at Lake Windermere instead.
Accommodation-wise, SCTL offers 3 nights in 3/4* hotels with breakfast, while UKSH includes 4 nights in similar standard hotels. Both tours feature 3 Indian dinners, while SCTL provides 2 Indian vegetarian lunches (April to October only) and UKSH includes 1 Indian veg lunch in the same period.
